There is no way to cancel the contract but you can take the house off of the market for the remaining portion of the agreement. If the house is eventually sold to anyone that the first agent showed the property to, you will still have to pay him a commission even after the 3 month contract runs out.

I don't think any bank offers personal loan to teenagers in Singapore. You must be 21 years & above for such personal loan. Apart from age, banks also check your gross annual income before approving fast personal loan.

On your original loan approval letter it should contain the details of the offer terms.
These normally include: Amount; Length of time of loan; Monthly repayment amount; Offer validity; Purpose of loan; Any further conditions.
So, on your offer letter you should find the expiry date of the offer.

If the loan is still valid, you may not be able to use for your new reason if it specifies that it was only valid for the ie.Honda Accord that you were going to buy.

There's no correct, wrong or ideal time to buy a HDB unit. With the new ruling, it doesn't mean HDB units prices will also drop drastically. A lot depends on whether you have enough money. If through your calculation and budget, the answer is yes, then do it.

Property prices fluctuates and subjected to various factors. Area, available amenities, land lease type, valuation,...etc. Example : a 3-room condo in end of Lim Chu Kang (nearby cemetery) can be cheaper than a 3-room HDB flat in end of Boon Lay.

Property prices won't come down in the short term as there are more foreigners expected to "invade" Singapore and these affects the price as when there is demand but supply is limited, price will remain high. Many foreigners already here will also take the opportunity to apply PR and compete with Singaporeans for HDB re-sale flats. That also contributes to higher property prices.

If you desperately need to buy a house, then don't wait. Just choose the area you want and grab it if you can afford it. But if you're looking for investment only, get a reliable property agent, listen and compare. Websites are another source for you to do comparison.

Buying a house is a very personal matter and you're going to live in it. Don't let anyone lead you by the nose. Good luck.

If you are looking to rent 1 bedroom HDB flat, you have to rent direct from HDB because this is low cost housing for low income people. There are shortage of such flats available now because there is not enough supply.

You should call HDB first to find out if you are eligible to apply for a 1 room HDB flat. Website: www.hdb.gov.sg

Under the Housing and Development Board (Animals) Rules 1989, HDB allows only one dog of an approved small breed per residential unit. Failure to comply with this legislation can result in a fine of up to S$4,000 upon conviction.
